Jason Duval

Jason Duval is the second playable protagonist of GTA 6. Rockstar’s official tagline: “Jason wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder.”

Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army trying to shake off a troubled youth, he ended up in the Leonida Keys doing what he knows best — working for local drug runners. He lives rent-free in a property owned by veteran smuggler Brian Heder, paying his way in odd jobs and shakedowns.

Rockstar’s profile teases that meeting Lucia “could be the best or worst thing to ever happen to him.” Together they anchor a two-perspective, Bonnie-and-Clyde-style crime story.

Jason appeared (unnamed) in Trailer 1 and was officially named and profiled alongside Trailer 2 in May 2025.
