The no-disc fine print
There is no disc version. Physical boxed copies of GTA 6 contain a download code inside the box. Physical versions ship November 12, 2026 — a week before launch — so you can preload. Digital preloading also begins November 12 (local midnight, per your store account's time zone).
Where to pre-order
PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Games Store, and major retailers (Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy and others by country). Best Buy currently offers members a $50 gift card when bundling a GTA 6 pre-order with an eligible console purchase.

Which edition should you buy?
If you just want to play on day one, the Standard Edition covers the full game — the Ultimate extras are cosmetics, exclusive vehicles/weapons, and two side missions, not story chapters. Get Ultimate if $20 for bonus toys and Wyman's restoration missions sounds fun; see our full edition buying guide.
Console bundles?
No first-party PS5 or Xbox bundle has been announced yet. A PlayStation bundle is widely expected given Sony's apparent GTA 6 marketing deal (widely reported, not officially announced). Rumored
